Mona, Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
On most days, you will find Mona at the front desk greeting patients as they arrive for their appointment. In addition, she is in charge of the majority of the office bookkeeping duties. You can also look for her as she searches the "Black Hole" of lost insurance claims.
In an office of cross-trained staff, Mona also enjoys frame dispensing and repair.
Shantia, Vision Therapist/AOA Certified Paraoptometric
Shantia has been in the profession of Optometry for over 30 years and enjoys the challenge of the ever-changing field of Optometry. Her passion is vision therapy and she loves to work with patients, especially children. She finds great satisfaction in helping patients improve their life with vision therapy.
Shantia and her husband, Todd, have two wonderful grown sons as well as an amazing daughter in law. They are especially excited to be first time grandparents! Shantia enjoys spending time with her family (including their two Chiweenie dogs), kayaking, traveling, camping, reading, hiking, boating and taking advantage of all that living in beautiful Bend offers. Fun fact: she is a native Central Oregonian.
Gina, AOA Certified Paraoptometric
Gina originally came to the office as a summer replacement in 2002 and has been with the office ever since. As a part-time employee she has worked in the various areas of the office covering the receptionist area, pre-testing/screening and contact lenses as well as the optical department.
Gina enjoys being a part of this office because LVC is all about our patients. We strive to offer them the finest care plus answer their needs the best we can. In a quest to improve our skills and knowledge we attend continuing education courses that are offered through the American Optometric Association.
Donna, AOA Certified Paraoptometric
Donna has returned to our office and is excited about the field of optometry. She pursued financial education to strengthen her background in accounting and office practices. She comes to us with over 20 years of experience. She performs various duties specializing in insurance billing, schedule coordinating, contacts and prescreening, while continuing her education in practice management.
Donna enjoys snowmobiling, photography, being outdoors, and quilting. Outside of work, she’s a busy mother of two children; one in college and the other in elementary school.
Sarah, AOA Certified Paraoptometric
Sarah is a native of Colorado, but moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1988. She has a degree in Interior Design and has been a watercolor artist and art teacher for over 20 years. Sarah loves the challenge and science behind eyewear selections and enjoys helping patients with their choices. She works in optical dispensary, marketing, office decorations and website design.
She enjoys hiking, mountain bike riding, skiing, kayaking, painting, teaching art, reading, and spending time with her husband and three boys.
Celia, AOA Certified Paraoptometric
Celia is a native Oregonian. She enjoys learning about eye health and how it pertains to vision. Some of her duties in our office are: new-fit training, contact lens ordering, pre-testing/screening and assisting the doctors. Celia especially enjoys the one-on-one time she has with each patient before they see the doctor.
In her free time, she likes to hike, read, bake and spend time with her family.
Jill, AOA Certified Paraoptometric
Jill is a native Oregonian with over 20 years experience in customer service. Jill grew up on the Oregon coast but loves the Central Oregon lifestyle. She enjoys optics and helping patients and is always interested in their stories. She joins our team in optical dispensary and front-desk reception.
She enjoys astronomy, shooting trap and spending time with her daughter and their dog.

Megan, Optical Assistant
Megan is a native Oregonian and new to optometry. She enjoys learning about the eye and how it works. Some of her duties include pre-testing/screening patients, contact lens ordering, and assisting the doctors.
In her free time, she likes to read, play video games, and spend time with family.
Stacy relocated to Central Oregon from San Diego, California in 2010. Stacy is very outgoing, energetic, and enjoys helping others with their vision care. Stacy works at the front desk as our patient care coordinator, checking patients in and out, and is the bubbly voice you hear greeting you on the phone.
Stacy has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and has a strong background in customer service. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, reading, paddle boarding, camping, hiking, car shows with her Indy Pace Camaro, and traveling with her two dogs in the Pacific Northwest.
